Marriott Cancun All-Inclusive: A Family’s Perfect Vacation
If you’ve been dreaming of a trip to Cancun, let me save you some research! I recently took my girls to stay at the world’s first all inclusive Marriott, and it ended up being one of our favorite family vacations yet. As a mom, I’m always looking for places where my girls can have the best time while I actually get to relax too… and this resort truly had something for everyone.
Our Stay
The resort is absolutely beautiful, but our suite honestly deserves its own moment. We stayed in a spacious suite with a separate king bedroom, a pullout sofa for the girls, huge closets, and not one, but TWO balconies overlooking the pool and the beautiful Caribbean Sea. Waking up to those views every morning was such a dream.
We were also welcomed with the sweetest surprise… a piñata filled with traditional Mexican candy! The girls were SO excited, and it was the perfect way to kick off our vacation.
One of my favorite things was simply walking the beach with my girls. Seriously… nothing beats the beaches in Cancun. Those morning walks and sunsets are memories I’ll treasure forever.
What I loved most about Marriott Cancun was how much there was for families to do. The girls LOVED the pools, the cabanas, the lazy river, the Kids Club, and getting to make pizza with the chef. It was such a fun experience that we all got to enjoy together. Also, while they were having fun at the Kids Club, I snuck away for the most amazing beachside massage. Moms… you know how special that little bit of quiet time feels! Hearing the ocean in the background while being pampered was the ultimate treat!
There were also activities happening throughout the day, so there was honestly never a dull moment. The food completely exceeded my expectations… from incredible steaks and fresh seafood to teppanyaki, delicious breakfasts, desserts, and yes… plenty of champagne for me 😂
Every meal was sooo good and they had lots of options for kids. their favorite was the teppanyaki show at MIKADO. They enjoyed every minute of it!
And I have to give the biggest shoutout to their entire team. I honestly don’t know how they did it, but every time I looked up they were bringing us another drink or more food. They made us feel so taken care of the entire trip.
Was It Crowded?
This was probably one of the questions I got asked the most on Instagram. Honestly… not at all!
Even around the pools, it never felt overcrowded. We always found lounge chairs, the beach felt spacious, and the resort has plenty of room to spread out. It made the entire vacation feel so relaxing.
Adventures Outside the Resort
As much as we loved the resort, we also wanted to explore a little. We went on an Aquaworld speedboat adventure and I had no idea I was going to be the one driving (and neither did the girls!) but I actually did pretty good and we all couldn’t stop laughing and screaming the entire ride! Definitely a must while you’re there!! The hotel also booked us a sunset tour on a boat and we took some beautiful pictures together. If you’re looking for fun family activities during your stay, I definitely recommend adding Aquaworld to your itinerary.

Final Thoughts
This trip was exactly what we needed. Time together, lots of laughs, beautiful memories, and a chance to slow down and enjoy every moment. Core memories were made and I’m planing on making this an annual tradition with me and my kids!
