What are the steps to book an appointment?
1- Fill out our GET A QUOTE form. You should receive an email within 12 hrs.
2- Follow the instructions by sending in your deposit and signing your contract.
3- Once the deposit has been paid, your appointment is confirmed. You will receive an email with a calendar attachment for your to open and save in your preferred calendar. You will also receive an email reminder a few days before your appointment. If either of these two fail to happen, please contact us.

Is there a minimum of services required to book an appointments?
YES. There’s a minimum os 2 services to book an appointment Monday through Thursday and a minimum of 4 services to book Friday through Sunday.

I have a large party or group of people, can you help us all?
Yes! Mely has a group of talented makeup and hair artists that work together to create magic. Rest assured that each one of them as been carefully picked by her making sure their style and techniques are similar, as they are regularly trained by her. We have served up to 20 people for makeup and hair!

How long does it take for Mely’s team Artists to do our makeup and/ or hair?
Bridal appointments take about 1 hr per service (or two total for both makeup and hair).
Special Occasion and Bridal Party appointments take about 45 mins per service (or one hr. and a half total for both makeup and hair).

Do you and your team travel?
Yes we do! National, International and Worldwide! Plus all of her artists are fully bilingual. The client is responsible for all travel fees (airfare, hotel, transport fees, valet, etc). GET A QUOTE HERE.

How far in advance should I book my appointment?
As soon as you know your date! All appointments are booked in a first come, first served manner and we get booked up to 12 months in advance, so the sooner you book, the better!

Can I add more services the day of?
This is a question we get asked all the time. You can, and we are always happy to help, but given the time frame, sometimes is difficult to fit in more services. With that said, we highly encourage you to have a final headcount when you’re ready to book.

For at home appointments, what do you and/ or your team need?
Please make sure you choose a comfortable area with plenty of daylight, if possible. A table near an outlet will be needed to set our makeup & hair products. Since we carry big heavy cases, a downstairs area is appreciated. Also because we work with hot tools, please NO little kids in the room. As much as we love kids, we worry about their safety and want to make sure you enjoy every minute of your appointment!

Can I show you a picture of the look I want?
Yes! We appreciate having a visual idea of what you have in mind for makeup and/ or hair. Please remember to search for images of people that have the same hair and eye color as you.

Should I wash my hair before my appointment?
Yes. You may wash your hair the day before the appointment. A "day old or two" hair is just fine as oily hair is harder to style. Also, hair must be blow dried (please do not straighten it with a flat iron as it will not curl).

Can I use extensions for my hairstyle?
Of course! There is a $25 dll extra fee for hairstyles with extensions as it typically takes longer to style your hair.

Does my makeup include lashes and how do I remove them?
Yes it does. We carry different styles for your preference. Clients can add a lash application a la carte for an additional $20. You can remove your lashes washing your face with warm water and softly pulling the strips off. It will not damage your natural lashes as they are not placed on them.

Can I put on face moisturizer?
Yes you may, as it will not affect the Airbrush Makeup application. Please make sure to wash your face thoroughly and remove all makeup residues before.

What is Airbrush Makeup and how does it feel?
Airbrushing is a patented makeup application technique that utilizes compressed air through an “airbrush” with drops of color to spray on a fine mist of makeup. Most clients find the application technique rather soothing and since traditional brushes are not used during this technique you never have to worry about sanitation. Airbrush makeup is exceptionally lightweight. Our Airbrush Makeup is water based (oil free), so most clients say they feel as if they aren’t even wearing makeup.

What are the benefits of airbrush makeup and is it right for everyone?
Airbrush makeup provides flawless coverage by minimizing skin imperfections while giving skin a beautifully natural finished looking result. Airbrush makeup is water resistant and will last for up to twelve hours or more. Airbrush makeup is suitable for women of all ages and every skin condition. The makeup is hypoallergenic and fragrance free.

Will I need to touch up my makeup frequently?
Since we know you will have a long day ahead, we use water resistant products only. With airbrush makeup, you will NOT need any touch ups at all, as it will last up to 15 hrs! You might just need a lipstick touch up.

Can I cancel or reschedule an appointment?
Because our schedule is pretty busy, all deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE.

What are your payment methods?
We take all major credit cards, Zelle and Venmo. If using credit card, please add a 3.6% processing fee. All final payments are due 2 days prior to the event.
