Splashway Waterpark Fun

I can’t believe Summer’s almost over, but we’re counting the days ‘till the next holiday because we definitely want to go back to Spashway!
I promised I would share my full review, so here it goes: I can simply begin by saying I was BLOWN AWAY! We all agreed that this has been one of the BEST family vacation time ever! And we don’t have to travel far as it is only about an hr and a half from Houston (depending on where you are), so the kids were excited to get there super fast.

When we arrived the staff was super friendly and showed us our way to the cabin… ok, the kid’s faces when they saw that they had the whole “second floor” all to themselves!!! (Mom & Daddy were super excited too about this too!)
The cabins are fully equipped, so you can bring all the food you want. There’s also a grill assigned to each cabin, so we had s’mores and grilled some burgers for dinner. Those were special nights to remember since we allowed the kids to stay up late! There are so many activities that you can do around the campground: from putt putt golf, to laser tag, to fishing, to outdoor movies in their big screen. They also have a basketball court and a sand volleyball court. You can never be bored!

I love that you can easily walk the ground and enjoy every activity. We did get a golf cart (highly recommended) as we brought our cooler and all of Kiara’s 2,380 toys (lol) and it made our stay much more easy and fun as the kids loved riding it!

Splashway offers many different options when it comes to lodging. You can bring your own RV, rent a cottage or stay in a tent. I’d love to try them all in the near future! I definitely want to have my own RV one day!

Also, they recently opened a Restaurant called HIDEAWAY. We didn’t have a chance to try it, but looking forward to next time. I love that this is so convenient if you just want to go and relax without doing all the cooking. They also have a Store/ Café with everything and anything you need (or forget), they have ice cream and homegrown HUGE watermelons (the best we’ve ever tried!) and American style food.

The Waterpark is absolutely AMAZING! They have a wave pool, sooo many waterslides for kids of all ages and a kiddie pool too! We loved their assigned cabanas were you can just sit and relax, maybe order some food (or bring your own) and stay away from the sun for a little bit. I really loved that each cabana has a safety chest where you can put your valuables and walk around the park freely. We honestly felt SO SAFE all the time!
Another thing that I noticed is that every thing was so clean and this mama really appreciated that.

Kael and I went on the waterslides -I’m not lying- about 30 times! And I will never forget that he told me the night before heading back home that he had such a “cool mom” and that he loved spending time with me (happy tears!). Sorry daddy, I’m the cool parent lol! I’m kidding, daddy also had some bonding time with her little princess in the Lazy River!

Hubby and I also had some sweet bonding time too. He even stole a kiss in the pool… Kiddos couldn’t stop giggling!

I could go on and on about all the amazing things at Splashway, but I’d like you to see it yourself. You can watch our STAY in my Instagram Stories Highlight HERE.
We had a blast! I am also sharing some of our favorite pics of our UNFORGETTABLE family vacay!
